Privacy Policy
Your track names, entries, timer sessions, notes, photos, videos and voice recordings remain on your device unless you enable optional iCloud synchronization or backup.
1. Information you create
Trackout may store track names, icons, colors, reminder settings, event entries, outcomes, timestamps, timer sessions, notes, photos, videos, voice recordings and locally generated insights.
2. Local storage
Your content is stored locally on your device by default. Trackout does not operate a user account system and does not intentionally upload your private tracking content to Trackout-operated servers.
3. Optional iCloud and CloudKit
If you enable iCloud synchronization or backup, Apple may store and process your Trackout data in your private iCloud account using CloudKit. Access to this data is controlled through your Apple ID and iCloud settings.
If iCloud is disabled and no backup exists, deleting Trackout or losing the device may permanently remove locally stored data.
4. Analytics
Trackout may use Firebase Analytics to understand aggregated usage such as app opens, feature usage, track types, timer completion and general engagement. Analytics events are designed not to include user-created track names, notes, photos, videos or voice recordings.
5. Crash diagnostics
Trackout may use Firebase Crashlytics to detect crashes and improve reliability. Diagnostic information may include crash traces, device model, operating system version, app version and installation identifiers.
6. Advertising
Trackout may display advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may process device information, advertising identifiers where permitted, IP address, ad impressions, ad clicks and diagnostic information.
Advertising may be contextual or personalized depending on your region, consent choices, device settings and Apple App Tracking Transparency permission.
7. Permissions
- Notifications for reminders and long-running timer alerts.
- Camera to capture photos or videos for an entry.
- Photo Library to select existing photos or videos.
- Microphone to record voice notes or video audio.
- iCloud if you enable synchronization or backup.
8. Data retention and deletion
Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Data stored through iCloud may remain until removed through Trackout or your Apple account settings.
9. Your choices
- Edit or delete entries and attached context.
- Enable or disable optional iCloud functionality.
- Change permissions in iOS Settings.
- Uninstall Trackout to remove local app data.
10. Children
Trackout is not directed to children under the age required to consent to data processing in their jurisdiction.
11. Changes
This policy may be updated when Trackout features, service providers or legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised when updates are published.
